Job Summary: 
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented CAD Manager to lead and execute projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen ability to manage processes, and a commitment to quality. You will be responsible for ensuring project success by effectively coordinating resources, managing timelines, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. 
Responsibilities and Expectations: 
Project Execution & Management: 
  • Process Development: Develop and refine project management methodologies and processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Project Planning & Onboarding: Create comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments. Effectively onboard team members and stakeholders to project goals and expectations. 
  • Implementation & Standards Enforcement: Implement project plans, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to established project standards and best practices. 
Leadership & Team Management: 
  • Team Oversight & Task Assignment: Oversee and assign tasks to project team members, ensuring clear understanding of roles and responsibilities. 
  • Performance Evaluation & Development: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and foster professional development opportunities for team members. 
  • Goal Setting & Timeline Management: Establish clear project goals, define milestones, and manage timelines to ensure timely project completion. 
  • Accountability & Ownership: Take ownership and accountability for project outcomes and team performance. 
Quality Assurance & Risk Management: 
  • Quality Standards & Reviews: Establish and maintain high standards for project deliverables, conduct thorough reviews, and ensure quality throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Issue Identification & Resolution: Proactively identify potential issues and risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve problems effectively. 
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, provide regular status updates, and generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders. 
Technical & Subject Matter Expertise: 
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. 
  • Quality & Performance Standards: Ensure projects meet or exceed quality and performance standards. 
  • Technical Guidance & Support: Provide technical guidance and support to project team members and stakeholders as needed. 
  • Professional Development & Growth: Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. 
Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Architecture, Construction, or Door & Framing industries, with preference given to candidates with previous Project Management responsibilities. 
  • Held a previous role producing & reviewing technical drawings. Previous AutoCAD experience preferred. 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience in project management software and tools.
